Notice from Saratoga County to Town of Stillwater. Stillwater is under a boil water effective 7/17/26 @ 9pm until further notice.

This is the latest from Saratoga County Water Authority (SCWA):

The contractor finished the repairs of the pipe around 9pm.  When we went to turn the pressure back on a second hole was found in the pipe around 20 feet away.  As a result, we had to start the entire process over again.  It took several hours to dewater the pipeline, then additional time to make repairs and start up the wtp, etc.  The system came back online at 3 am.  There is still about a days worth of restoration work that will be required.   We are now operating at normal conditions but with a boil water advisory.

UPDATED TRAVEL ADVISORY ALTERNATING LANE CLOSURES ALONG STATE ROUTE 4 IN STILLWATER

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect alternating lane closures along State Route 4 between Ferry Lane and State Route 32 in the Village of Stillwater, Saratoga County, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., beginning Wednesday, July 15, through Friday, August 28, to facilitate pavement resurfacing. Flaggers will control alternating traffic flow through the open lane.
Motorists should anticipate travel delays and build extra travel time into their schedule. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
Lives are on the line; slow down and move over for highway workers!
